It is in tribute to Gala, his wife, his muse, to whom he devoted a mad love, that Salvador Dalí launched in 1983 his first perfume. For him, the perfume is "the most beautiful messenger" memories and moments of happiness ...
For Salvador Dalí, a multi-faceted talented designer, it was quite natural to be interested in perfume - at the crossroads of art and fashion - another form of artistic expression.
In 1981, completing his painting Apparition of the Aphrodite of Cnidus, he sketched a bottle, inspired by the sensual mouth and nose of the goddess of beauty and love. It is from this drawing, that will be launched in 1983, the DALÍ perfume in limited edition numbered in crystal.
The feminine fragrance chosen by the Master is a voluptuous accord, marrying the most noble and rare essences of jasmine, the flower he often wore in his ear when he painted and rose.
The world's first artist perfume, this "sculpture bottle", a veritable work of art, marks the birth of a collection of Salvador Dalí perfumes for women and men, always inspired by the artist's universe and whose famous Dalinian mouth is the signature.
