When I opened the box today all I saw was a box full of shaving cream with the four items nestled in the foam. Upon further investigation both containers of shaving gel had lost their caps in transit and one of the gels was completely empty (having emptied itself into the shipping box). The other one was less than half full. When I called for a replacement (after offering to send a photo) the person helping me didn't initially want to replace the gel infused cleansing bar packages. She finally agreed to do so after I offered for a second time to send a picture to prove that they were shave gel covered. I asked if she could request that they put tape on the caps before shipping or perhaps wrap them in bubble wrap. She said she could not do that. I'm hoping when the replacements arrive the same mess will not have happened again. I really think Clinique needs to rethink how products are packaged for shipping. Merchant Response Hi, Susan. I was looking forward to trying an aloe shaving gel since I have sensitive skin and am prone to bad razor burn. While the gel is definitely soothing and easy to lather on, it felt like any other shaving cream that you can buy for a fraction of the price. Also, a little goes an extremely long way with this product, so it's frustrating how much gel the bottle dispenses from just one pump. I feel bad about wasting every time I use it. Mass-market shave gels cost much less and are good but not equal to the Clinique gel. Clinique gel forms a light, hydrating lather that stays in place and doesn't run off. The older container was made of recyclable plastic, and I'd like to see that return because I'm a shower shaver. The older container may have held more product.
